10x Genomics, Fred Hutch launch clinical research collaboration on single-cell, spatial oncology applications
TXG•
TXG•10x Genomics and Fred Hutch launched a clinical research collaboration focused on bladder cancer and acute myeloid leukemia. The studies will examine treatment response and residual disease detection; no clinical results were reported.
The collaboration will study whether single-cell and spatial readouts can predict treatment response in bladder cancer, with the aim of supporting future therapy selection. A separate acute myeloid leukemia project will test whether single-cell analysis can improve residual disease detection.
The effort also supports groundwork for potential diagnostic use, including a clinical reporting framework tied to 10x Genomics’ planned CLIA-certified lab. Findings are expected in future readouts as the studies progress.
