21Shares to Add FTSE as Index Administrator and Switch to FTSE Bitcoin, Ethereum Indices
21Shares AG will appoint FTSE International Limited as an additional Index Administrator for its four crypto ETPs, effective 26 March 2026. All four Products will switch their reference prices to the FTSE Bitcoin and FTSE Ethereum indices under Bloomberg codes FBTC1HRE and FETH1HRE.
1. Appointment of Additional Index Administrator
Effective 26 March 2026, 21Shares AG will appoint FTSE International Limited as an additional Index Administrator for its crypto ETP programme. The FTSE Global Digital Asset Index Series will supplement existing governance, enhancing the management of the underlying indices for Bitcoin and Ethereum products.
2. Reference Price Methodology Update
Also effective 26 March 2026, the reference prices for the four ETPs will transition from CCIX Bitcoin USD and CCETH Ethereum USD to the FTSE Bitcoin Index and FTSE Ethereum Index (1HR 1700 CET). The Bloomberg codes FBTC1HRE and FETH1HRE will replace the current codes for pricing, with no other Product terms changing.
