374Water Appoints Daniel Bogar CEO, Adds Three Board Directors
Daniel Bogar, former President and COO of PowerVerde and architect of its April 2021 merger with 374Water, succeeds Stephen Jones as President and CEO, backed by three new board members. Brad Freels, Charles Weiser, and Stephen McKnight join Jim Pawloski and Marc Deshusses to drive scalable deployment of AirSCWO technology.
1. CEO Appointment
374Water has appointed Daniel Bogar as President and CEO, elevating a longtime corporate development leader with over 20 years of executive experience. Bogar most recently served as President and COO of PowerVerde Inc., where he helped engineer its merger with 374Water in April 2021 and led global commercialization initiatives.
2. Board Additions
The board has expanded with three seasoned directors: Brad Freels, infrastructure developer and CEO of Midway; Charles Weiser, veteran executive and CPA; and Stephen McKnight, real estate investor and operating executive. These additions join existing directors Jim Pawloski and Marc Deshusses to strengthen governance aligned with commercial scaling.
3. Strategic Outlook
The leadership overhaul aims to accelerate critical 2026 milestones for scalable AirSCWO deployments, enhance capital formation, and reinforce financial discipline. The board’s focus will be on matching financing capacity with project development to establish 374Water as a commercial-scale waste destruction solution provider.
