374Water has signed a memorandum of understanding with Arcadis to jointly pursue federal and commercial contracts for permanent PFAS destruction.
The collaboration targets the destruction of AFFF stockpiles, using 374Water’s AirSCWO systems as the core treatment technology.
Arcadis is expected to lead client interface, prime contracting, permitting strategy and waste characterization support for PFAS-impacted streams.
AirSCWO destroyed more than 99.9% of PFAS in a DoD-led demonstration, including more than 99.99% in concentrated AFFF.
The Orlando facility will serve as an initial commercial reference site, with additional regional hub facilities anticipated.
