374Water completed Phase 3 of its mobile AirSCWO deployment in St. Cloud, Minnesota, under a USD 600,000 waste destruction services contract.
This concluded a three-phase campaign that treated three biosolids feedstocks from June 1 to July 31 with no operational issues.
Phase 4 begins and company sees follow-on potential
Phase 4 began Aug. 10, targeting Class B biosolids blended with spent granular activated carbon from a drinking water plant in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
The pilot is expected to support Minnesota’s assessment of AirSCWO for permanent PFAS destruction.
A potential follow-on opportunity could drive “multiple millions of dollars” in revenue, according to the company’s estimate.
