374Water Deploys Mobile AirSCWO System in Minnesota under $600K Contract

SCWOSCWO

374Water’s mobile AirSCWO system arrived in St. Cloud, Minnesota on May 11 for its first $600,000 PFAS waste destruction contract set to run through mid-September 2026. The pilot deployment will validate market demand and economics, with each mobile unit projected to generate $500,000–$1.5 million annually.

1. First Mobile AirSCWO Deployment

On May 11, 374Water’s mobile AirSCWO system departed its Orlando facility and arrived at St. Cloud, Minnesota, marking the inaugural commercial deployment of its on-site waste destruction solution. The unit is designed for PFAS treatment at locations lacking permanent infrastructure.

2. Pilot Contract Details

The deployment operates under a $600,000 Waste Destruction Services contract with the City of St. Cloud and Barr Engineering. From May through mid-September 2026, the system will process PFAS-contaminated biosolids and water treatment residuals at the city’s Nutrient, Energy, and Water Recovery Facility.

3. Revenue Potential and Scalability

374Water estimates each mobile AirSCWO unit can generate $500,000 to $1.5 million in annual revenue, depending on deployment cadence and waste composition. The St. Cloud pilot will provide real-world data to validate these economics and inform future mobile deployments.

4. Complement to Fixed-Site Services

The mobile AirSCWO system complements the company’s fixed-site Waste Destruction Services, including a recent five-year license with the City of Orlando. Together, these offerings create a flexible platform for municipal, industrial, and federal remediation projects.
