3D Systems wins additional $9 million U.S. Air Force contract for large-format metal 3D printer program

3D Systems won an additional $9 million U.S. Air Force contract under its large-format metal 3D printer demonstrator program.
The award extends the program by two years, supporting development of large-scale, high-temperature metal printing for flight-relevant applications.
Total project funding rises to $27.4 million.
Work will continue at facilities in San Diego, California, and Rock Hill, South Carolina.
