Treatment-burden reduction and safety
The overall cohort showed a 78% treatment-burden reduction; the recently diagnosed subgroup showed an 87% reduction versus 12 projected aflibercept injections over 2 years.
The safety profile stayed stable; 2.8% mild intraocular inflammation was reported within 28 weeks, with no new inflammation reported beyond 28 weeks and up to 4+ years of follow-up.
