Abacus Global Management will acquire a $53 million minority equity stake in Manning & Napier, forming a strategic alliance for product distribution, lead generation and joint product development while preserving independent operations. Abacus agreed to acquire a $53 million minority equity stake in Manning & Napier, which manages about $18 billion in assets and serves approximately 3,400 clients. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, with Manning & Napier retaining independent operations.
2. Strategic Alliance
Under the deal, Manning & Napier will distribute Abacus Asset Group products—including exchange-traded funds, longevity funds and asset-based finance strategies—while Abacus’s Life Solutions platform, generating about 10,000 customer leads monthly, will feed referrals to the wealth manager’s advisory network. The firms will also co-develop lifespan-based financial planning tools by integrating Abacus’s LifeARC data with Manning & Napier’s planning infrastructure.

Abacus’s 2025 results featured 110% revenue growth to $235.2 million and 115% EBITDA growth to $132.6 million, with assets under management rising to $3.6 billion and ROE and ROIC both exceeding 20%, underscoring strong execution and disciplined capital allocation.
