AbbVie says Phase 3 trials show Rinvoq vitiligo repigmentation gains extend to week 76
ABBV•AbbVie said patients who stayed on Rinvoq in Phase 3 vitiligo trials continued to show facial and overall skin repigmentation improvement through week 76. A week-28 substudy found stronger repigmentation trends with Rinvoq plus NB-UVB than with Rinvoq alone; U.S. regulatory review is ongoing.
1. Trial results
AbbVie disclosed long-term Phase 3 Viti-Up results for Rinvoq in non-segmental vitiligo, presented at the 2026 EADV Congress. Patients who stayed on treatment continued to show improvement in facial and overall skin repigmentation through 76 weeks. Safety through 76 weeks aligned with upadacitinib’s established profile, with no new safety signals reported.
2. Phototherapy findings
A phototherapy substudy presented week-28 findings showing stronger repigmentation trends when Rinvoq was combined with NB-UVB than when used alone. Rinvoq is cleared in the EU for eligible adults and adolescents with non-segmental vitiligo; U.S. regulatory review is ongoing.
