ABM COO Rene Jacobsen to retire after 14 years
ABM•ABM Chief Operating Officer Rene Jacobsen will retire effective Nov. 1, 2026, and remain an executive advisor through Feb. 1, 2027. Richard Sykes and Mark Hawkinson will lead newly created business units.
1. Leadership changes
Jacobsen will retire after 14 years at ABM and serve as an executive advisor through Feb. 1, 2027. Richard Sykes, currently senior vice president and president of U.K. & Ireland, will become president of the newly created Facility Solutions unit. Mark Hawkinson, currently president of Technical Solutions, will lead the newly created Engineering & Infrastructure Solutions unit.
