Abogen Biosciences signs licensing, option deal with Novartis for ABO2203 mRNA T-cell engager
NVS•Abogen Biosciences signed a licensing and option agreement with Novartis for its RNA-encoded therapeutics, including an exclusive worldwide license to ABO2203. Abogen will receive $575 million upfront and could earn up to about $7.2 billion in milestones if all options are exercised, plus potential sales royalties.
1. Licensing agreement
Suzhou Abogen Biosciences signed an agreement with Novartis to advance RNA-encoded therapeutics. Novartis received an exclusive worldwide license to ABO2203, an mRNA-encoded CD19xCD3 T-cell engager, and exclusive options to license additional programs using Abogen’s proprietary RNA platform. Abogen will receive $575 million upfront and could earn up to about $7.2 billion in milestones if all options are exercised, plus potential royalties on sales.
