Abundia Secures 40,000 Tons Yearly for 10-Year Cedar Port Feedstock Agreement
AGIG•Abundia Global Impact Group has signed a 10-year agreement with Frankfort Plastics to supply 40,000 tons annually of polyolefin waste, covering roughly 50% of the feedstock needed for its Cedar Port waste-to-fuels plant. The deal includes rights for additional volumes and aims to underpin the project’s Final Investment Decision.
1. Agreement Details
Abundia Global Impact Group has entered a binding 10-year strategic agreement with Frankfort Plastics to supply 40,000 tons per year of polyolefin plastic waste, representing approximately 50% of the Cedar Port plant’s expected annual feedstock requirement. The agreement grants Abundia discretion to purchase additional volumes and secures on-spec material processed through densification methods.
2. Project Impact
Securing long-term feedstock is a critical milestone toward commercial execution of the Cedar Port waste-to-fuels facility, providing the supply certainty needed for a Final Investment Decision. This partnership addresses one of the core bottlenecks in transitioning from project development to full-scale operations.
3. Development Timeline
Abundia is nearing completion of Phase 1 construction at Cedar Port, which includes its Innovation Center and Operational Headquarters. Definitive agreements are anticipated in Q3 2026, with Final Investment Decision following completion of the commercial and engineering milestones.
