AC Immune Showcases ACI-19626 PET Tracer, ACI-19764 NLRP3 Inhibitor and Synuclein Agent at AAIC 2026
ACIU•AC Immune will present three pipeline programs at AAIC 2026 July 12–15, including its first-in-class TDP-43 PET tracer ACI-19626 with early human imaging data in FTD and ALS, a Phase 1 NLRP3 inhibitor ACI-19764, and an alpha-synuclein Morphomer with in vivo neuroprotective effects. It underscores biomarker-led approach to neurodegenerative therapeutics.
1. AAIC 2026 Presentation Schedule
AC Immune will deliver one oral and two poster sessions at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference 2026 in London from July 12 to 15, showcasing its Morphomer®-based small molecule platform across diagnostic and therapeutic candidates.
2. TDP-43 PET Tracer ACI-19626
The oral session on July 15 will cover the discovery and initial clinical evaluation of [18F]ACI-19626, the first tracer targeting TDP-43 pathology, which has demonstrated promising early human imaging results in patients with frontotemporal dementia and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
3. NLRP3 Inhibitor and Synuclein Morphomer Programs
Two poster presentations will review ACI-19764, a brain-penetrant NLRP3 inhibitor now in Phase 1 showing efficacy in neuroinflammation models, and an alpha-synuclein Morphomer compound that exhibits potent in vivo inhibition of pathological aggregation with neuroprotective effects.
