Actinium Secures Canadian Patent Allowances for Actimab-A+CLAG-M and Iomab-ACT Through 2039/2038
ATNM•Actinium Pharmaceuticals secured Canadian patent allowances for Actimab-A+CLAG-M AML therapy and Iomab-ACT conditioning, extending IP protection through January 2039 and October 2038, respectively. These allowances bolster its global radiotherapy IP estate, complementing existing U.S. and Japanese patents and pending applications in Europe and China.
1. Canadian Patent Allowances for Core Programs
Actinium Pharmaceuticals received Notices of Allowance from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office for Canadian patents covering its Actimab-A+CLAG-M AML therapy (Application No. 3,087,346) and its Iomab-ACT gene-edited cell therapy conditioning platform (Application No. 3,078,963). Issuance of the patents is expected in the ordinary course.
2. Program Coverage and Patent Terms
The Actimab-A patent allowance secures use of its radioimmunoconjugate in combination with the CLAG-M chemotherapy regimen through January 2039, while the Iomab-ACT allowance protects its targeted CD45 conditioning method for adoptive cell therapies until October 2038.
3. Strategic Impact on Global IP Estate
These Canadian allowances expand Actinium's global radiotherapy patent estate to approximately 250 issued and pending patents, complementing existing U.S. and Japanese patents and pending applications in Europe and China. The enhanced IP coverage strengthens the company's competitive moat across hematologic malignancies and gene-edited therapy conditioning.
