Actinium's ATNM-400 achieves 93% tumor growth inhibition in preclinical ovarian cancer model
ATNM•Actinium Pharmaceuticals announced preclinical results for ATNM-400, including 93% tumor growth inhibition as monotherapy in an ovarian cancer model, versus 54% for bevacizumab. The company also reported results in lung and colorectal cancer models.
1. Preclinical results
Actinium Pharmaceuticals announced preclinical ATNM-400 results supporting development across lung, colorectal and ovarian cancers. In a KRAS-mutant lung cancer model, ATNM-400 combined with adagrasib achieved 105% tumor growth inhibition, compared with 81% for ATNM-400 alone.
2. Ovarian and colorectal models
In a poorly responsive colorectal cancer model, adding ATNM-400 to oxaliplatin and bevacizumab increased tumor growth inhibition to 72% from 25%. ATNM-400 monotherapy achieved 93% tumor growth inhibition in an ovarian cancer model, compared with 54% for bevacizumab. In ovarian cancer models following bevacizumab failure, ATNM-400 monotherapy showed 50% tumor growth inhibition.
