Adagio Medical posted a Q2 net loss of $6.7 million, or $(0.30) a share, widening from a $3.9 million loss a year earlier.
Research and development expense rose to $2.5 million from $2 million, on higher product development and operational costs.
Selling, general and administrative costs edged up to $2.5 million from $2.4 million, on higher stock-based compensation.
Cash position and regulatory update
Cash and cash equivalents fell to $7.7 million at June 30 from $17.1 million at Dec. 31.
The company said it submitted an FDA PMA for the vCLAS Ventricular Ablation System and reported FULCRUM-VT results showing 2.4% major adverse events and 84% freedom from ICD shock at six months.
