1. New cure framework
The International Myeloma Society presented a consensus definition of multiple myeloma “cure” at its annual meeting, with the framework centered on sustained MRD-negative status over time. Adaptive Biotechnologies said highly sensitive MRD testing could serve as a gatekeeper for cure designation and that the criteria could expand routine use of its clonoSEQ assay in long-term monitoring.
