Adicet Bio reported updated phase 1 data for prula-cel in systemic lupus erythematosus, including patients with lupus nephritis. The study showed 54% DORIS remission at 12 months, alongside sustained disease control, broad discontinuation of immunosuppressants and steroid tapering; no severe cytokine release syndrome or serious neurologic immune-related events were reported. Start-up activities for a single-arm pivotal lupus nephritis study are planned for the fourth quarter of 2026, with possible expansion into non-renal lupus.
