ADP: Canada job-stayers’ base pay rises 3% in August Pay Insights report

Job-changers recorded a 5.6% base-pay gain, signalling continued wage premiums for mobility in Canada’s private sector.

Gross pay increased 4.4% for job-stayers; job-changers posted a 9.6% rise.

Sector results clustered near 3%-3.3%, with education and health services at 3.3% among the higher readings.

Provincial dispersion widened, led by Prince Edward Island at 4.2%; Yukon was lowest at 2.5%.
