ADT Q3 revenue beats analyst estimates
ADT•ADT's third-quarter revenue rose 4% to $1.35 billion, above the $1.32 billion analyst estimate. Adjusted EPS rose 4% year over year, and the company expects its acquisition by Thrive Holdings to close in Q1 2027.
1. Revenue and earnings
ADT reported third-quarter revenue of $1.35 billion, up 4% and above the $1.32 billion analyst consensus. Adjusted EPS from continuing operations was $0.24, while net income was $151 million and adjusted income from continuing operations was $176 million. Adjusted EPS benefited from a lower diluted share count following share repurchases.
2. Business outlook
Higher installation, product and other revenue reflected increased sales of professionally installed systems under the outright sales model. Monitoring and related services revenue declined due to lower sales volume and the October 2025 multifamily business divestiture, partly offset by higher average prices. ADT expects the Thrive Holdings acquisition to close in Q1 2027 and is not providing financial guidance while the acquisition is pending.
