Aduro CRO Eric Appelman joins Chemical Recycling Europe board for 2026-2028 term
ADUR•Aduro Chief Revenue Officer Eric Appelman was elected to the Chemical Recycling Europe board for the 2026–2028 term. He presented Aduro’s Hydrochemolytic technology and scale-up plan; the company is advancing a planned 10,000-ton-per-year plant at Chemelot in the Netherlands.
1. Board appointment
Appelman was elected at the trade group’s Sept. 29 general assembly in Brussels, ahead of its annual conference. He presented Aduro’s Hydrochemolytic technology and outlined the company’s scale-up plan for chemical recycling of polyolefins.
2. Planned facility
Aduro is advancing a planned 10,000-ton-per-year first-of-a-kind plant at Chemelot in the Netherlands. The appointment comes as EU rules on circular plastics tighten, including recycled-content targets and mass-balance accounting for chemical recycling.
