1. Sales and earnings
AdvanSix reported third-quarter sales of $430.81 million, up 15% year over year and above the $426 million consensus estimate. Higher pricing, including raw material pass-through and market-based pricing, drove the increase, while lower caprolactam sales reduced volumes. Adjusted loss per share was $0.24, missing the $0.05 expected loss; the company cited lower production output and higher raw material costs.
2. Cash flow and outlook
Net loss was $7.56 million, adjusted EBITDA was $14.64 million and free cash flow was $29.69 million. Cash flow from operations improved on disciplined working capital performance. AdvanSix expects tighter ammonium sulfate supply and demand dynamics into 2027, plans about $90 million in 2026 capital expenditures, and continues to expect a $17 million pretax income impact from plant turnarounds in 2026.
