Environmental advisor appointment for Newcastle-Sydney high-speed rail
AECOM was appointed environmental planning and assessment advisor for the Newcastle-to-Sydney High Speed Rail development phase.
Work covers environmental impact assessments, biodiversity and heritage approvals strategy to support construction readiness and a federal investment decision.
The mandate runs through a two-year development phase for a dedicated new line designed for trains operating up to 320 km/h.
