AECOM named design partner for New Zealand Northland Corridor Section One project

AECOM has been appointed design partner for the Warkworth to Te Hana road project in New Zealand, working with lead contractor ACCIONA.
The project forms Section One of the Northland Corridor Program, a planned 100-kilometer motorway linking Auckland with Whangārei.
The scope includes a new interchange, improved alignment and safer gradients, and aims to cut travel times, reduce congestion and strengthen resilience.
Design plans also call for reusing on-site materials to limit imported inputs, reduce waste, lower embodied carbon and improve cost efficiency.
