Aecon's Holdom Overpass project earns Envision Platinum sustainability award
Aecon's Holdom Overpass project in Burnaby, British Columbia, received the Envision Platinum rating, the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure's highest sustainability rating. Construction waste diversion was approximately 84%, and recycled materials made up 13% of purchased goods, above the 5% target.

Aecon's Holdom Overpass project received Envision Platinum, the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure's highest sustainability rating. The four-lane overpass is being built by the Aecon-Gateway Infrastructure Group partnership and is intended to support Port of Vancouver trade capacity.
2. Materials and delivery
Construction waste diversion reached approximately 84%, while recycled materials represented 13% of purchased goods, exceeding the 5% target. The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is delivering the project with Burnaby and CN, supported by Government of Canada funding.
