Aegon 1H26 operating result rises 9% to EUR 804 million

Aegon said its share buyback for 2H 2026 was lifted by EUR 150 million to EUR 350 million.

Aegon reports higher operating result and capital generation
Aegon posted a 1H 2026 net result of EUR 608 million, broadly flat versus the prior-year period.
- Operating result rose 9% to EUR 804 million, reflecting strong commercial momentum and favorable financial markets.
- Operating capital generation climbed 27% to EUR 416 million.
- Free cash flow fell to EUR 392 million as Aegon UK remittance is excluded.
- Valuation equity per share increased 4% to EUR 9.42.
- The interim dividend rose 11% to EUR 0.21 per common share.
