Aehr Secures Follow-On Production Order for 9-Wafer FOX-XP Burn-In System
AEHR•Aehr Test Systems received a follow-on production order for its FOX-XP® wafer-level burn-in system, configured to test nine 300mm wafers in parallel with a WaferPak AutoAligner. The system will enable high-volume burn-in of silicon photonics devices for AI optical interconnects in hyperscale data centers.
1. Production Order Details
Aehr received an additional follow-on production order from its lead silicon photonics customer for a fully automated FOX-XP wafer-level burn-in system. The order includes a turnkey FOX-XP multi-wafer system configured to test nine 300mm wafers in parallel and a FOX WaferPak AutoAligner for hands-free operation.
2. Customer Application and Technology
The customer is ramping high-volume manufacturing of advanced silicon photonics devices used in AI optical interconnects and hyperscale data center applications. These devices aim to deliver higher bandwidth and lower power communication between AI processors, memory, and networking equipment.
3. Strategic Implications and Outlook
This follow-on order marks a production milestone in the transition from engineering qualification to high-volume manufacturing and underpins an encouraging start to fiscal 2027.
