Aehr secures initial order for multiple FOX-XP, FOX-NP burn-in systems for silicon photonics transceivers
Aehr Test Systems received an initial order for multiple high-power FOX-XP wafer-level burn-in systems testing nine wafers in parallel plus FOX-NP systems and WaferPak contactors from a leading networking products supplier. Shipments begin in fiscal Q4 ending May 29, 2026, with potential follow-on orders later this year.
1. Initial Order Details
Aehr Test Systems received an initial order from a leading networking products supplier for multiple FOX-XP wafer-level burn-in systems testing nine wafers in parallel, alongside FOX-NP WLBI systems, a WaferPak Auto Aligner, and full sets of FOX WaferPak contactors.
2. Shipment Schedule and Forecast
The ordered systems are scheduled for shipment in Aehr’s fiscal fourth quarter ending May 29, 2026, and the customer has provided forecasts for additional system orders as it ramps capacity to support next-generation hyperscale AI and cloud data centers later this year.
3. Technology Impact and Growth Potential
The high-power FOX-XP platform delivers up to 3,500 watts per wafer with high-temperature, high-parallelism burn-in, validating wafer-level burn-in’s critical role in silicon photonics manufacturing and positioning Aehr to benefit from multiyear growth in data center fiber optic interconnect deployments.
