Aemetis generated $54.6 million in Q1 2026 revenue, a 27% increase from $42.9 million a year earlier. The company achieved a gross profit of $2.8 million versus a $5.1 million loss in Q1 2025, and reduced operating loss by 60% to $6.3 million.

2. Segment Performance Breakdown

The Dairy RNG segment sold 110,000 MMBtu, up 55% from 71,000 MMBtu, driving much of the revenue growth. India Biodiesel revenue rebounded to $10.5 million with resumed tender shipments, while ethanol gallons sold remained at 13.7 million despite flat average selling prices.

3. Strategic Developments and Tax Credits

Aemetis recognized $4.0 million of Section 45Z Production Tax Credits, marking the first ongoing quarterly credits since eligibility began in Q4 2025. Major equipment deliveries included four dairy biogas pretreatment skids under a $27 million contract and key vapor recompression and RNG fueling station systems.
