AEP adds Marriott chairman David Marriott to board of directors

AEP elected David Marriott and Charles Meyers to its board, effective July 20.

Marriott is chairman of Marriott International and has been a director since 2021, with prior senior operating roles across the hotel group.

Meyers is executive chairman of Equinix and was formerly president and CEO from 2018 to 2024, where he expanded the data center footprint and grew revenue.

The board will have 12 directors, including 11 independent members.
