AES says Bernerd Da Santos exits as senior strategic adviser, joins Fluence as COO

Bernerd Da Santos left AES on Sept. 14, 2026, ending his role as chairman of the AES Clean Energy board.
Da Santos had moved into that position on April 16, 2026, from executive vice president and president of US & Renewables.
He accepted a new job at Fluence Energy as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
