AVEX•Aevex denied reports that the U.S. Navy halted GARC orders over performance issues. The company said 2025 deliveries of 325 units fulfilled contractual obligations, and 2026 contract modifications raised the total value to about $350 million and extended performance through June 2027.
Aevex said the U.S. Navy has not halted GARC orders over performance issues. The Navy continues operating its GARC fleet and funding enhancements under the existing contract, the company said.
Delivery of 325 GARC units in 2025 fulfilled contractual obligations, and no additional vessels were planned for procurement. Contract modifications in 2026 raised the total value to approximately $350 million and extended performance through June 2027. Aevex said recent reports do not affect its Maritime Systems division or financial performance.
