AEye and Vueron Expand OPTIS with Real-Time 3D Software and 1 km Lidar Range

On January 14, 2026 AEye and Vueron finalized a strategic partnership to merge Vueron’s real-time 3D perception software with AEye’s OPTIS awareness system. The deal was sealed at CES 2026 when AEye CEO Matt Fisch and Vueron CEO Joseph Kim signed the agreement.

The collaboration combines Vueron’s dynamic 3D perception algorithms with AEye’s Apollo lidar hardware, enabling full-stack real-time detection and analysis of objects up to one kilometer away.
