1. Partnership Agreement

On January 14, 2026 AEye and Vueron finalized a strategic partnership to merge Vueron’s real-time 3D perception software with AEye’s OPTIS awareness system. The deal was sealed at CES 2026 when AEye CEO Matt Fisch and Vueron CEO Joseph Kim signed the agreement.

2. Technology Integration

The collaboration combines Vueron’s dynamic 3D perception algorithms with AEye’s Apollo lidar hardware, enabling full-stack real-time detection and analysis of objects up to one kilometer away. This enhancement broadens OPTIS capabilities for automotive, infrastructure, transportation and safety applications.

3. Production and Market Impact

Following this agreement, AEye reported growth in its customer base and secured strategic funding to significantly increase Apollo lidar production capacity. These moves position the company to scale OPTIS deployments across multiple industries and support expanding demand.
