Affirm expanded its partnership with Shopify to launch Shop Pay Installments in Australia, powering the pay-over-time option exclusively via Shop Pay.
The move marks Affirm’s return to Australia, extending a product launched in 2021 across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.
Eligible shoppers can split purchases into fortnightly or monthly payments, selecting interest-free or interest-bearing plans with no late fees.
The product can be enabled by Australian Shopify merchants through the platform’s admin dashboard, targeting higher conversion and larger basket sizes.
