Aflac study finds 1 in 3 U.S. workers lack legacy plan documents
AFL•Aflac’s study found 33% of U.S. workers lack a legacy plan. It also found that 57% have a will, 50% a power of attorney and 54% advance healthcare directives.

The study found that 33% of U.S. workers lack a legacy plan. Among workers who handled a loved one’s affairs, 74% reported reduced workplace productivity, 45% emotional strain and 43% financial difficulties. In addition, 79% said they would likely use a care manager to navigate end-of-life matters.
