Afya names Marcelo Ken Suhara chair of audit, risks and ethics committee

Afya appointed Marcelo Ken Suhara chair of its Audit, Risks and Ethics Committee, effective July 27, 2026.
Suhara serves as an independent director, sits on the Audit, Risks and Ethics Committee, and is the Audit Committee financial expert.
He succeeds João Paulo Seibel de Faria, who died while serving as committee chair and as an independent board member.
