Agenus BOT+BAL meets primary endpoint in Phase 2 MSS colon cancer trial
AGEN•Agenus said published Phase 2 UNICORN results showed botensilimab plus balstilimab met the trial’s primary endpoint in resectable, locally advanced colon cancer. By the February 9, 2026, data cutoff, no combination-treated patients had experienced cancer recurrence, and all participants had undergone surgery.

Agenus announced published Phase 2 UNICORN results evaluating preoperative botensilimab plus balstilimab in resectable, locally advanced colon cancer. The combination produced deep tumor responses, including complete tumor clearance in some patients with microsatellite-stable disease; the findings support a planned randomized Phase 3 trial comparing the combination followed by standard care with standard care alone.
