A•Agilent launched a Gen5 AI Cell Identification Module that adds AI-based cell identification and segmentation to compatible BioTek Cytation and Lionheart automated imagers.
1. AI imaging module
The module aims to reduce manual steps in cell counting and confluence analysis by removing conventional threshold setting or parameter tuning. It supports label-free or fluorescence assays, including live-cell and kinetic formats used in life science and drug research.
