- Agnico Eagle agreed to acquire Rupert Resources, issuing up to 207,654,166 contingent value rights as part of the consideration.
- Each right can pay up to CAD 3 in cash over 10 years, split into three CAD 1 payments tied to project milestones.
- First payment triggers if mineral reserves at the acquired property reach at least 5,000,000 ounces of gold.
- Later payments require commercial production plus a combined reserves-and-produced total of at least 7,500,000 ounces, then 10,000,000 ounces.
- Computershare Trust Company of Canada will act as rights agent, handling recordkeeping and distributing any cash payments to registered holders.
