AI model expands AgPlenus fungicide discovery platform

AgPlenus, an Evogene subsidiary, launched an Antifungal Potency Predictor AI model to rank antifungal small molecules from chemical structure.

The model expands ChemPass AI for Ag by forecasting biological efficacy before synthesis or fungal assays, with the aim of cutting early-stage testing.

AgPlenus expects the tool to support its fungicide pipeline, including APTF-1, amid rising resistance and a fungicide market estimated at about USD 22 billion.
