AIG agrees to buy Everest’s Chile insurance business
EG•AIG agreed to acquire Everest Group’s Chilean insurance subsidiary, Everest Chile, with closing expected in the first half of 2027. AIG also completed its previously announced acquisition of Everest Colombia.

AIG agreed to acquire Everest Group’s Chilean insurance subsidiary, Everest Chile, with closing expected in the first half of 2027. The deal includes licensed operations, employees and ongoing insurance business serving corporate and upper-middle-market clients.
2. Colombia deal completed
AIG completed its previously announced acquisition of Everest Colombia, expanding its commercial insurance presence in Latin America.
