- AIG posted net income attributable to common shareholders of USD 948 million, down 17% year-over-year, with diluted EPS of USD 1.78, down 10%.
- Adjusted after-tax income per diluted share rose 10% to USD 2, while core operating ROE eased to 11.1% from 11.7%.
- General Insurance net premiums written climbed 9% to USD 7.52 billion, while underwriting income increased 10% to USD 686 million.
- General Insurance combined ratio improved 0.3 percentage points to 89%, despite catastrophe-related charges of USD 210 million.
- Capital return totaled USD 904 million, while AIG sold its remaining Corebridge stake for about USD 710 million in proceeds.
