Air Liquide plans Idaho industrial gas facility for memory-chip expansion
Air Liquide plans to invest over USD 150 million to build, own and operate an industrial gas facility in Idaho to support a memory-chip maker’s expansion.
Start-up is targeted for 2028, with the plant supplying large volumes of ultra-pure nitrogen, oxygen and argon for advanced memory-chip manufacturing tied to AI demand.
The project extends a renewed long-term supply partnership and positions the group for higher semiconductor-related volumes in the US.
