Airbnb Eyes Flight Integration After Adding Rides, Meals and Experiences to Trips Tab
Chief Business Officer Dave Stephenson said Airbnb plans to integrate flights into its Trips tab offering, a strategy originally developed pre-Covid. The company has already expanded this feature to include pre-scheduled rides via Welcome Pickups, Instacart grocery delivery, celebrity chef meals and massage services.

Chief Business Officer Dave Stephenson said Airbnb is exploring the addition of flights to its Trips tab, reviving a pre-Covid initiative with no current announcements and aiming to deliver a seamless end-to-end journey.
2. Trips Tab Service Growth
Since relaunching Experiences in May 2025, Airbnb has layered in hotel bookings, pre-scheduled rides via Welcome Pickups, Instacart grocery delivery, celebrity chef meals and on-demand services like massages directly within the Trips tab.
3. Leadership and Organizational Shifts
Stephenson, who joined as CFO in 2019 and became CBO in 2024, oversees this expansion with support from new executives including former Meta CTO Ahmad Al-Dahle and ex-Uber safety head Gus Fuldner.
