Airbus completes acquisition of French cybersecurity firm Quarkslab
Airbus completed its acquisition of Quarkslab on Oct. 1, 2026, adding the French cybersecurity firm’s QShield software protection platform to its Defence and Space cyber operations.
1. Cybersecurity acquisition
Quarkslab, founded in 2011, has about 100 employees in Paris and Rennes. Its QShield platform is designed to counter AI-driven threats and deter reverse-engineering in defence and aerospace; Quarkslab will join Airbus Defence and Space’s Connected Intelligence activities.
