Airbus named Mark Dunkerley chair of its Remuneration, Nomination and Governance Committee and lead independent director. René Obermann stepped down as board chair effective October 1, 2026, and Amparo Moraleda took over that day. ASML CEO Christophe Fouquet was co-opted as a non-executive director to complete Obermann’s term, while Michelin CEO Florent Menegaux was selected to replace Jean-Pierre Clamadieu when his mandate ends.
