1. Strategic Land Acquisition
AIRO purchased a 390,000-square-foot industrial plot in Rebild Municipality, Denmark, selected for geopolitical stability, infrastructure access and workforce skill. The site will form the foundation for a large-scale manufacturing facility to address rapidly accelerating demand across unmanned ISR and autonomous systems.
2. Production Capacity and Platform Support
The new facility is designed to bolster production of the RQ-35 Heidrun, AIRO’s flagship ISR platform, and enable the introduction and volume rollout of the RQ-70 Dainn with extended range and higher payload. Its flexible design will accommodate future unmanned systems and embedded AI capabilities under development.
3. Growth and Market Position
This expansion underpins AIRO’s strategy to scale a globally integrated defense platform, improving cost efficiency and on-time deliveries. By creating a long-term security-focused industrial base, AIRO aims to capture growing backlog orders and sustain growth across U.S., NATO and allied markets.
