Post-merger board nominations announced

AkzoNobel’s pending merger of equals with Axalta moved closer to completion with three additional non-executive director nominees for the combined board.

Stephan Tanda, Denise Johnson, Robert Schuchna are slated to join at closing, subject to shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting later this year.
The post-close board is expected to be chaired by Rakesh Sachdev with Ben Noteboom as vice-chair; Greg Poux-Guillaume is to serve as CEO.
