Nightingale Health teams up with Alamar Biosciences on 80,000-sample UK Biobank neurodegenerative disease study
ALMR•Nightingale Health and Alamar Biosciences launched a UK Biobank study measuring hundreds of protein biomarkers in 80,000 blood samples to support earlier detection, prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Completion is expected by the end of 2027.
1. Study details
The study will use Alamar’s NULISA platform at Nightingale’s laboratories to measure hundreds of protein biomarkers in 80,000 blood samples. Funding comes from Alzheimer’s Research UK, LifeArc and other partners, and the full dataset will be available to approved researchers worldwide through the UK Biobank Research Analysis Platform.
